I am not qualified to tell you which driver to buy.
I cannot explain shaft flex with any authority.
And if you’ve arrived here hoping for an expert analysis of the ideal club configuration for lowering your handicap, I have some disappointing news.
But I can tell you what has earned permanent real estate in my golf bag.
Because apparently I golf now, and like every hobby I’ve ever acquired, I’ve developed opinions.
There are pretty golf balls. A water bottle that doesn’t leak everywhere. The sunscreen I actually remember to use. A magnetic phone holder that sticks to the cart so I can use 18Birdies without digging around for my phone every six minutes.
None of these things will fix my putting.
They do, however, make golf considerably more fun.
