Clear Your Brain — The 10-Minute Task Method for Entrepreneurs

Last time, we cleared your space. Now? We’re coming for your brain clutter.
You know the stuff—unfinished to-dos, unanswered emails, that one website update you’ve been putting off since… forever.

It’s time to shrink that list, ten minutes at a time.

This is the 10-Minute Task Method for Entrepreneurs, and it’s your secret weapon for getting out of overwhelm and into motion—without losing your whole afternoon.

Here’s the simple formula:

  1. Set your 10-minute timer. Same rules as Part 1—keep it fun if you can.
  2. Pick a task you really don’t want to do, but need to.
  3. Go all in for 10 minutes. Start it, finish it, or just break the ice so it’s easier to come back to.
  4. Repeat as needed. Or take a break and bask in your new, uncluttered mental space.

Some of my favorites from the 10-Minute Task Checklist for the Multipassionate:

  • Inbox blitz: Delete junk mail, respond to the urgent stuff, and flag what needs more time later.
  • Brain dump session: Get all those ideas out of your head and onto paper—no editing, no order, just relief.
  • Tidy your digital files: Rename, organize, or delete duplicates. Future you will be grateful.
  • Update your bio or profile: Refresh a sentence on your website, LinkedIn, or Instagram.
  • Analytics snapshot: Take a quick peek at what’s working so you can double down.

Here’s a pro tip I love: Pair your 10-minute business task with a home one.

For example:

  • Do a brain dump while you wait for laundry to finish.
  • Clear your inbox while dinner’s in the oven.
  • Declutter your desk while your Zoom updates.

Little by little, your brain feels lighter, your to-do list feels smaller, and you actually have the energy to focus on what matters most.

I used to think that if I could just stop drinking, everything would magically fall into place. In many ways, I think that’s how we talk about transformation. We tell ourselves that once we lose the weight, quit drinking, leave the relationship, start therapy, get the diagnosis, or buy the house, we’ll somehow arrive. We’ll […]

If you’re wondering whether manifestation really works, this is the story of how a broken farmhouse window, a Zillow search, and a two-million-dollar listing changed the course of my life. What started as a dream house became a lesson in intuition, timing, and becoming the person capable of receiving what I wanted.
